Why am I running against the incumbent?
- Anacortes can and needs to do a better job with our precious environment and dealing with the effects of climate change.
- I represent a large segment of the Anacortes population – seniors, women and singles – who are not currently being represented.
- It is best for our city and our democracy for every candidate to face some opposition in order to defend and describe their goals for the position.
